Our Story
Cala Glass Services, Inc. was founded in August 2020
During one of the most challenging times of our generation: the pandemic. What began as a moment of uncertainty quickly turned into an opportunity to build a strong, reliable, and well-respected company specializing in shower doors, glass railings, and mirrors.
Our background is unique. My wife, Carolina, is a dentist, and I, Carlos Lira, am a medical doctor. We came from Venezuela nine years ago with the dream of creating a better future for our family. With two young children, we knew we had to reinvent ourselves and embrace a completely new trade.
I had the opportunity to work for a glass company where I learned the craft of shower door and glass installations. Through dedication and persistence, I gained the experience needed to take the next step. When the pandemic left both of us without jobs, we decided to start our own business—trusting in the skills I had developed and our willingness to work hard.
